Congratulations to all of our 1st - 4th graders who competed in the Math Fact Bee! We recognize your hard work and dedication in mastering your math facts.
New Haven Public Schools has worked very closely with the New Haven Health Department to update the Covid-19 guidelines. Please read the document carefully and if you have any questions, we are here to provide clarifications for you. We continue to be grateful for how flexible and understanding our school community has been with the changes that this pandemic caused. Click on the COVID-19 Guidance to read.
Thanks to our friends at SCSU who are studying to be educators, our 4th grade students toured Southern's campus. We had a great time riding on the campus shuttile, visiting academic buildings, relaxing in the Reflection Garden, eating donuts at the Student Center, smelling the food in the dining hall, and checking out the books in the Buley Library. Our 4th grade scholars even received their own library cards to borrow books! The trip closed when we came back to BOMUS to receive brand new books for each student to read. We had an amazing experience and look forward to visiting again!
Our 4th grade students are learning about emergency responders. We are excited to have the SCSU Police come to campus to teach our students all about the communication devices used in emergencies. We also had a chance to meet K-9 Brody and learn how he is trained to keep our community safe.
